
Range Engine 1.6 Rev 1 Is Released!

The Range Engine 1.6 LTS just got even better! We've just released our first improved version, full of tweaks and improvements that makes the difference.
Some of the improvements and new features:
- Cascaded Shadow Maps
A crucial technique for rendering high-quality shadows in large-scale environments, balancing performance and detail across varying distances from the camera.
- PostFX Improvements
We've enhanced the post-processing effects. SSR has a better quality with Binary Search, now the game engine uses Alchemy AO with a performance improvement up to ~60%, Tonemaps now have Saturation and Temperature, and more advanced optimizations.
- Screen Space Irradiance
- Vignette
- Exponential Height Fog and Mist Improvements
- Debug Mode Improvements
Now you can move, rotate and scale objects with a in-game manipulator, And also change the object color and transparency.

The Next Months:
Probably a big question is when Range Engine 1.6 will be out of early access, also when the Range GameJam will start. Thinking on that we decided to end the early access some days before the game jam starts to give some time to the people that didn't joined the early access to learn the new features and use it in the jam to finish it quickly and with quality
